Crawler in the house

.
Things are moving in our house.
.
The Oaxacan vase from the honeymoon in Mexico. It sat at the fireplace hearth for 13 years. Now on a ledge 7 feet high.
.
The cute, if slightly rusty, cast iron insects picked up at an estate sale. Now on the mantle, 5 feet up.
.
The plastic caps on the doorstop springs. Not sure how we're going to handle that.
.
Tablecloths. About to become a thing of the past.
.
Even the cats are moving around. Their well established traffic patterns interrupted by an 18 pound grabby fellow.

All because the little person who moved in in January is now on the move.

Bear is crawling. Life is changing.

  2. He is just so cute!!! :)

What do the cats think of him overall?? Bethlehem's first real word was "dat" for "cat" (we have two!).

  3. Bear! You are so big! YAY for crawling! We love you!

And, R and D, E's obsessed with those plastic caps on the door stops, too, whereas R never noticed them at all. What is up with that? Maybe E has been calling B and giving him tips.

  5. Soooo cute!! Funny how u talk about moving things. I have a party with 12 little kids a week ago and learned alot about what we will have to change for when our kiddos come home from Ethiopia. It was a great test for me!!! Glad to see all is going well...he looks sooo happy. You two are awesome parents!!! Keep the posts and pics coming.

  7. it is more work but I *love* when they start crawling- so much of their little personalities come out when you see what they go after... Havi is into "un-potting" our plants, lots of fun!
