Rites of passage

In the state of Wisconsin if a child is at least 1 year and weighs at least 20 pounds, he may become a .......Front Facer. We turned his carseat around a couple weeks ago. I couldn't wait for him to make the switch.
.
.

Because I love seeing this face in the rear view mirror.

.
And for more evidence he's growing up...
.
He started a gotee. Or maybe more accurately a Soul Patch.
.

.
Have a good week!

  1. OH, that smile... How do you stand it? I can't believe how big he looks in that car seat-- more a little boy than a baby. How tall is he? How much does he weigh now? E is now 28 pounds and turned 18 monhts this past Friday. Love to the three of you!

He is too cute for words. i was thinking he has really grown, and then i saw the last pic, and was like "oh, nevermind, he's still teeny. part of me wants meke a baby forever, and the other part is so excited for what he learns to do each day. obviously, i am pretty darn excited about the latter. hugs to the forward facer!!! and you!!
