New Numbers and Shots

Yesterday Julie confirmed our new numbers:

#2 on the boys list
and
#6 on the siblings list

I already had a strong suspicion we were #2. That's because Brian and Heather who were two spots ahead of us on the list received the referral of a 3 week old baby boy earlier in the week! 3 weeks old !! Congratulations guys! It is an honor to celebrate this child with you. It's my hope we will travel to Ethiopia together to meet our kids for the first time!

Knowing we might receive a referral soon, which in turn means travel to Ethiopia soon, also means it's time to get....VACCINATED. On Tuesday we went to the county health clinic to be vaccinated for Hepatitis A & B, and tetanus. Next week will be typhoid.

This picture shows just how much Dodd enjoys shots.

The ladies at the clinic were so excited for us and the adoption. They are standing in the background watching. They probably enjoyed the spectacle of me "shooting" pictures of Dodd getting shots. Ha ha. Thanks for the shots ladies!
